Vitra Panton Chair Classic

Danish designer Verner Panton spent many years thinking of ways to produce a plastic chair moulded in one piece. Together with Vitra, in the 1960's he came up with the first prototypes and the Panton Chair went into series production in 1967. The Panton Classic is made of rigid expanded plastic and has a lacquered surface.
