Vitra Eames Fiberglass Armchair RAR
The Eames Fiberglass Armchair was already designed in 1948 by Charles and Ray Eames as part of a competition at the Museum of Modern Art in New York. The chair occupied the 2. Space and went into production a little later. Its organically shaped seat was then, and is still today, made of polyester resin reinforced with fibreglass fibres, which is regarded as particularly easy to shape, comfortable and pleasant to the touch. The seat shell is also charming because of the clearly visible fibre structure on the surface.
