Vitra Abat-Jour Conique Lampshade
The Abat-Jour Conique is the one design among Jean Prouve's collection that was crafted for him personally as he created the Potence wall lamp in the 1940s for his own home in Nancy then in 1947 Prouve added a cone-shaped lamp to match the Potence with its different variations. It is a simple light bulb affixed to a long pivoting metal bar supported by a steel wire with the cone shaped lampshade that can be removed when needed.
