The Abalon Sofa is the latest addition to the Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec collection, inspired by the shape from the shell of a sea snail it is organically curved and naturally encourages users to sit and engage. The Abalon sofa is part of a small family of products that includes the Abalon Platform and the Abalon Table. The Sofa neatly fits into comfy settings accommodating three people and helps create a space with a sense of protection and offering a retreat in an open environment. The concave back provides a shield for private conversations. Abalon can be covered in a choice of different durable fabrics that come in a range of colour finishes.

In creating the Abalon sofa system Vitra have added to their portfolio a very soft, relaxed meeting system that is high on comfort and perfect for less formal meetings or brainstorming sessions.
