TWILIGHT LED

Swiss lamp manufacturer BELUX demonstrates how the latest LED technology can be used. After the successful adaptation of the classic LIFTO table lamp, the TWILIGHT lamp for soft room lighting has now been fitted with LED technology and patented electronics. As a result, TWILIGHT LED uses 88% less energy and the light modulation of the white tones can be adjusted from warm to cool.
For almost a decade now, TWILIGHT has been synonymous with individuality in house lighting. In a refined way, this lamp combines unrivalled room and atmospheric lighting. Belux has managed to utilise the huge progress made in LED lighting technology and to transform these qualities into energy-efficient LEDs and patented electronics.
The new LED version uses just 48 Watts of electricity and is therefore 88% more economical than the halogen version. Moreover, the LED lamps work for well over 50,000 operating hours. Used for an average of six hours a day, this equals a life span of over 20 years. At an energy price of 24 centimes, it is possible to save over 1,000 Swiss Francs after four years, and achieve a CO2 reduction of 858 kilogram. TWILIGHT LED is virtually maintenance-free, as lighting bulbs no longer need replacing. The design also takes account of further developments in LED technology: the lighting technology is easily upgraded by simply replacing the LED lamp. That way, TWILIGHT LED is always state-of-the-art and its life span can be extended indefinitely.
